I had to sneak one in before the end of the year, and in doing so I'm introducing "Walker Twist" into the shop for the first time.
Walker Twist is 400yds of a 2-ply tight twist sock yarn in 100% Superwash Merino. This yarn takes dye like a dream--saturated and pebbled and GORGEOUS. I can't wait to share it with you all, so I won't bother to try and prolong this...

It's that time! The shop has been updated, and is introducing a new base -- GLORIFICUS.
Glorificus is an 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon blend. It feels amazing. Soft is an understatement, but this is more than soft; this is a fantastically strong blend, perfect for accessories and socks.
The update this time has both the Glorificus base, some Lorelai Sport, Walker Basic and Walker Merino.

How It Works
Yarnography is a six installment club, shipped in bi-monthly installments. Beginning January 2010, members will receive one (1) full skein in the Walker Basic base (75% Superwash Merino, 25% Nylon - fingering weight), and one (1) 5"x7" print from Caryn Drexl Photography.
Club Shipment/Shipping
For U.S. Domestic, shipping will be sent out via Priority Mail.
For International, shipping will be sent out First-Class.
Note: If you're outside of the U.S., please make sure you select the correct purchase option for correct shipping. Shipping is INCLUDED in the cost of the club.
Membership Benefits
As a bi-monthly member of Yarnography, you will receive one (1) skein of yarn dyed by Brianna of The Yarn Side, one (1) 5"x7" photographic prints by Caryn Drexl, as well as FANTASTIC extras that will make you giggle and swoon, per installment. You have absolute freedom over which months you want to opt into. This also allows you the option to hop into the club when the next installment's membership is available (always check back at the beginning of the month previous to the month you want OR sign up for the newsletter)!
As a full member to Yarnography, you will be guaranteed a spot in all 6 months/installments! You will receive a total of six (6) skeins of yarn dyed by Brianna of The Yarn Side, six (6) 5"x7" photographic prints by Caryn Drexl, as well as FANTASTIC extras that will make you giggle and swoon, and ONE FINAL SURPRISE in your last installment if you stick through the whole club!

What Are You Really Getting Here?
Caryn Drexl has her own ideas when she comes up with the concept for her photo shoots, but she always tells others that they should allow her images to mean more than that. She'd prefer you find your own story in her work rather than force her own vision onto you.
Yarnography, then, is the re-telling of the images via yarn and color. Brianna will let the images below inspire her to create one-of-a-kind colorways. They won't always be as simple as plucking the colors from the photographs. Instead, they will be a re-telling--perhaps the backstory she finds within them, that lead to the moment that was captured in the image. Each inspired colorway will be a surprise, and absolutely special.
