Isn't it fantastic? The above Lorelai Sock is 435 yards of Amazing. It's the same blend of 70% Baby Alpaca, 20% Silk and 10% Cashmere, but in a true sock/fingering weight--absolutely perfect for shawls, scarves, hats, or heirloom projects.
Now, for the fiber, which definitely dominated this morning's update.

I had to sneak one in before the end of the year, and in doing so I'm introducing "Walker Twist" into the shop for the first time.
Walker Twist is 400yds of a 2-ply tight twist sock yarn in 100% Superwash Merino. This yarn takes dye like a dream--saturated and pebbled and GORGEOUS. I can't wait to share it with you all, so I won't bother to try and prolong this...

It's that time! The shop has been updated, and is introducing a new base -- GLORIFICUS.
Glorificus is an 80% Superwash Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon blend. It feels amazing. Soft is an understatement, but this is more than soft; this is a fantastically strong blend, perfect for accessories and socks.
The update this time has both the Glorificus base, some Lorelai Sport, Walker Basic and Walker Merino.

Hello again! There was a mini-update to the shop today--a couple of roving braids, and a few skeins of Walker Basic. I'm working on small batches here and there as I flesh out an idea for a Yarn Club. More on that later when I have more of it settled on...I want to show you the items that were just listed.
First up is the roving. Just 2 in this update, but this is the first roving to enter the shop in quite a while!
"So Unkind" - Baby Alpaca / Merino blend, 3.5 ounces
"Black Market Blood" - Baby Alpaca / Merino, 4 ounces
Next we have the Walker Basic, which is a 75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon blend. This yarn is on the lighter side of fingering weight and has a smooth, round appearance. It's gorgeous worked up, so you'll definitely want to try this base out!
